What is IdlePoke

Pokémon idle MMORPG played in the browser, with an open world, professions, dungeons, houses, auctions and more than one character per account. The team can hunt on its own in idle instances, even with the player offline, and the game allows real-money trading between players, provided the deals don't happen in the official Discord channels.

• Played in the browser on PC or phone, with text in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
• In IDLE instances, the team hunts, catches and collects loot on its own while the player plays or is offline, following the idle mode rules.

The community rating is 4.4 out of 5, with 222 reviews: gameplay 4.5, polish 4.4, and real-money trading (RMT) 4.3.

Do you need to keep the tab open?

According to the IdlePoke site, the account keeps progressing with the tab closed.

The site's description says you can progress even offline, and the game explains that in IDLE instances the team hunts, catches and collects loot on its own with the player offline. Instances have a limited duration and one free entry per day. capture, treine, batalhe, evolua e progrida mesmo offline, junto com outros treinadores. (source)

So here, keeping the tab open is more about following the account, responding to events and noticing when something goes wrong than about keeping progress.

Rules: multiple accounts, automation and VPN

What the rules published by IdlePoke said on Sep 22, 2026:

• Multiple accounts: the site doesn't say. The rules say nothing about having more than one account. Within one account, the game allows more than one character, with at most 2 online at the same time. Esta conta já tem 2 personagens online. Desconecte um para entrar com outro. (source)
• Automation (bots, macros, scripts): forbidden. The terms forbid bots, macros, auto-clickers and any third-party program that automates the game, under penalty of permanent ban. The game's own automation (Auto-Catch, Auto-Loot, auto-heal and idle instances) is part of it. O uso de bots, macros, auto-clickers ou qualquer software de terceiros que automatize a jogabilidade é estritamente proibido e resultará em banimento permanente. (source)
• VPN and proxy: the site doesn't say. The terms say nothing about VPN or proxy.
• Selling items for real money (RMT): allowed. The Portuguese terms, shown at sign-up, allow real-money trading as long as the deal doesn't happen in the official Discord channels; one version of the welcome message also says RMT is allowed and points to the Auction. The English version of the same window still says RMT of accounts, items and currency is forbidden. How to leave IdlePoke running in IdleDeck

1. Download IdleDeck (free, Windows 10 and 11) and link the app to your IdleDeck account — it takes a minute.
2. Click Add account, go to Other game or site and paste idlepoke.com.
3. Sign in to your IdlePoke account in that window, just like in the browser. Each IdleDeck account has its own login, cookies and cache — repeat step 2 for each account the game's rules allow.
4. Turn on alerts: Windows notification, sound or a Discord webhook to know on your phone when the account drops.
5. You can minimize. Since the game progresses offline, here IdleDeck keeps the account open, organized and signed in, and alerts you when it drops or goes back to the login screen.
