PXG-style Pokémon idle MMORPG in the browser, in which the team hunts monsters in waves on its own, even with the browser closed, because the hunt runs on the server. It has parties, clans, houses and player markets; the rules limit players to 2 accounts each, and the site advertises selling caught Pokémon for USDT.

• Played in the browser on PC (Windows, Mac or Linux) or phone (iOS and Android), with the phone sideways; the same account works on both.
• Hunts are automatic battles against monsters that spawn in increasingly stronger waves; catching uses Poké Ball, Great Ball and Ultra Ball, and evolving requires the right stone from the loot.

According to the Poke Hero World site, the account keeps progressing with the tab closed.

The site says the hunt runs on the server: you can close the tab or the browser and turn off the PC, and on return you see the levels, catches and items gained. Feche a aba, o navegador, desligue o PC: a hunt continua rodando no servidor. (source)

So here, keeping the tab open is more about following the account, responding to events and noticing when something goes wrong than about keeping progress.

Rules: multiple accounts, automation and VPN

• Multiple accounts: limited. At most 2 accounts per player; beyond that, the extra accounts are banned. Each account has one character and only one active session at a time. The team uses IP and device correlation and says it reviews family, same-network or same-computer cases before punishing. É permitido no máximo 2 (duas) contas por jogador. • Automation (bots, macros, scripts): forbidden. The rules forbid bots, macros, scripts, autoclickers, screen readers and any external program used to gain an advantage; the game's own auto mode is allowed. They also ban external tools to keep the session active, simulate presence or get around the inactivity disconnect. • VPN and proxy: the site doesn't say. The rules and the agreement say nothing about VPN or proxy; they only say the team cross-checks IP and device to find linked accounts.

Since the account keeps progressing with the tab closed, the right way to play Poke Hero World is the game's own: sign in, set things up and leave.
