What is Poke Idle World

Fan-made browser idle MMORPG with a Pokémon theme and a focus on Kanto's 151: the lead Pokémon hunts on its own and offline farming works through the snooze button (Zzz). The published rules allow up to 4 accounts per player and forbid macros and tools that simulate presence; trading between players is a VIP feature.

• The Pokédex covers Kanto's 151 Pokémon.
• Each catch rolls IVs from 1 to 31, nature and gender; evolution is by level or by stone.
• Offline farming only works through the Zzz button: the server plays 5 minutes as a sample and then credits up to 24 hours at 50% of that sample's XP rate (100% with Turbo, which costs 2 diamonds).

Do you need to keep the tab open?

According to the Poke Idle World site, the account keeps progressing with the tab closed.

Only through snooze mode: during a hunt, the Zzz button takes the player out of the game and the server keeps hunting for 5 minutes; then the time until the next login (24 hours at most) yields 50% of the sample's XP rate, or 100% with the 2-diamond Turbo. Closing the tab without Zzz yields nothing. Offline farm only happens through the Zzz button — closing the tab without it does NOT generate rewards. (source)

So here, keeping the tab open is more about following the account, responding to events and noticing when something goes wrong than about keeping progress.

Rules: multiple accounts, automation and VPN

What the rules published by Poke Idle World said on Sep 22, 2026:

• Multiple accounts: limited. Up to 4 accounts per player without authorization or a justification accepted by the administration (rule in force since 07/15/2026); beyond that, the team may delete the accounts involved. Coordinated use of several accounts may be treated as a sign of wrongdoing. the same player is using more than 4 (four) accounts without authorization (source)
• Automation (bots, macros, scripts): forbidden. The rules require playing through the official interface and forbid programs, scripts or extensions without the team's permission, macros, auto-clickers and tools that simulate presence. Auto-Potion, Auto-Revive and Auto-Catch (VIP) belong to the game itself. Macros, auto-clickers and tools that simulate your presence or perform repeated actions automatically are not allowed. • VPN and proxy: the site doesn't say. I found no mention of VPN or proxy in the rules or the site's texts.
• Selling items for real money (RMT): the site doesn't say. The rule titled 'selling for real money' only forbids advertising the sale or purchase of accounts, characters, items or diamonds in the official channels; it doesn't say whether the sale itself is allowed. The rules say the account is personal and non-transferable, that diamonds and items have real value, and forbid trading with botters' accounts. Advertising the sale or purchase of accounts, characters, items, diamonds or any game content in official channels is forbidden. (source)

How to leave Poke Idle World running in IdleDeck

1. Download IdleDeck (free, Windows 10 and 11) and link the app to your IdleDeck account — it takes a minute.
2. Click Add account, go to Other game or site and paste poke.idleworld.online/login.
3. Sign in to your Poke Idle World account in that window, just like in the browser. Each IdleDeck account has its own login, cookies and cache — repeat step 2 for each account the game's rules allow.
4. Turn on alerts: Windows notification, sound or a Discord webhook to know on your phone when the account drops.
5. You can minimize. Since the game progresses offline, here IdleDeck keeps the account open, organized and signed in, and alerts you when it drops or goes back to the login screen.
