What is Idle World

Medieval fantasy idle MMORPG with vocations, spells and systems that use Tibia names, where combat runs on the server and the character keeps hunting with the tab closed, without stamina. It has a Wheel of Destiny, Prey, forge, guilds, a PvP arena and a battle pass, and a premium currency called Tibia Coins, obtained through donations. The rules allow at most 4 accounts connected at once per network and prohibit tools that simulate the player's presence.

• Five vocations: Knight, Paladin, Sorcerer, Druid and Monk; the wiki mentions 28 attack spells per vocation, cast automatically.
• Combat runs on the server and offline time counts in full, without stamina; the character can die offline if it runs out of healing.
• The tutorial warns that XP and gold come in offline, but item drops require the game open; the wiki says loot also comes with the game closed.
• Since August 4, 2026 the game allows at most 4 accounts connected at the same time per network/IP; families or LAN houses can ask support for an exception.
• Since August 25, 2026 trading with accounts identified as botters is prohibited, at the risk of a permanent ban.
• Wheel of Destiny with 36 nodes of 5 levels, paid in gold; there is also Prey, tier forging, guilds with perks, an Elo-based PvP arena and a battle pass.
• Premium: +50% XP, +10% critical, dodge and loot, automatic refill of runes and ammo (even offline), 15% off the Wheel and premium areas.
• Tibia Coins, the premium currency, come from donations via Pix or card and can be exchanged for gold on the player market.
• Login with email and password or Google; logging in on another device ends the current session.
• It can be installed as an app from the browser itself.

Do you need to keep the tab open?

According to the Idle World site, the account keeps progressing with the tab closed.

According to the wiki, hunting continues with the tab minimized, in the background or closed, and all time away counts, without stamina; when you return, a window summarizes the gains. The game's tutorial, however, says that offline only XP and gold come in, and that loot items only drop with the game open. You can die offline. So here, keeping the tab open is more about following the account, responding to events and noticing when something goes wrong than about keeping progress.

Rules: multiple accounts, automation and VPN

What the rules published by Idle World said on Sep 22, 2026:

• Multiple accounts: limited. Since August 4, 2026 the game automatically blocks the fifth account connected at the same time from the same network/IP; anyone using more than 4 without authorization may have the accounts deleted. Households with several people or LAN houses can ask support to allow more accounts. • Automation (bots, macros, scripts): forbidden. Programs, scripts and extensions that interact with the game need the team's permission; macros, auto-clickers and any tool that pretends the player is present or repeats actions are banned. • VPN and proxy: the site doesn't say. No mention of VPN or proxy.
• Selling items for real money (RMT): forbidden. Ads to buy or sell for real money (accounts, characters, items, gold or Tibia Coins) are banned on the official channels, and sharing links of that kind leads to a permanent ban. Since August 25, 2026 trading with accounts identified as botters is also prohibited. The rules direct players to trade through the Market and the official transfers. How to leave Idle World running in IdleDeck

1. Download IdleDeck (free, Windows 10 and 11) and link the app to your IdleDeck account — it takes a minute.
2. Click Add account, go to Other game or site and paste idleworld.online.
3. Sign in to your Idle World account in that window, just like in the browser. Each IdleDeck account has its own login, cookies and cache — repeat step 2 for each account the game's rules allow.
4. Turn on alerts: Windows notification, sound or a Discord webhook to know on your phone when the account drops.
5. You can minimize. Since the game progresses offline, here IdleDeck keeps the account open, organized and signed in, and alerts you when it drops or goes back to the login screen.
