What is Aethyr Idle

Dark fantasy idle RPG played in the browser, with no download, featuring four classes, gathering and crafting professions and Mythic+ dungeons. Combat, gathering and crafting continue with the game closed, for up to 8 hours (24 hours for subscribers). It's made by an independent developer in France and is in English and French.

• Four classes (Warrior, Mage, Ranger and Rogue): the character starts as a Vagabond, picks a class at level 10, and each class has three specializations.
• Over 400 crafting recipes across blacksmithing, alchemy and woodworking.

Do you need to keep the tab open?

According to the Aethyr Idle site, the account keeps progressing with the tab closed.

Combat, gathering and crafting continue with the game closed, capped at 8 hours (24 hours with the Aethyr Patron subscription). In the Celestial Isles, time away replays the performance measured live and the hero can die. A full RPG in your browser. So here, keeping the tab open is more about following the account, responding to events and noticing when something goes wrong than about keeping progress.

Rules: multiple accounts, automation and VPN

• Multiple accounts: the site doesn't say. The terms don't mention a limit on or a ban of multiple accounts.
• Automation (bots, macros, scripts): forbidden. The terms forbid exploiting bugs and using automation tools; violations can lead to account suspension. The automatic spell rotation set up in the game itself is part of it. Users agree not to exploit bugs, use automation tools, or engage in any activity that disrupts the game (source)
• VPN and proxy: the site doesn't say. The terms don't mention VPN; the game only mentions VPN in an error message, as a possible cause of a cloud save failure.
• Selling items for real money (RMT): the site doesn't say. The terms don't mention selling accounts or items for real money.

How to leave Aethyr Idle running in IdleDeck

1. Download IdleDeck (free, Windows 10 and 11) and link the app to your IdleDeck account — it takes a minute.
