What is Dead Idle

Brazilian zombie survival idle MMORPG played in the browser: the character fights in automatic combat, goes on gathering expeditions in six professions and crafts equipment by tier. It has raids, scheduled global bosses, pets and a player market. Gathering continues with the page closed, and automatic combat has a 6-hour idle limit on free accounts.

• Four classes: Fighter, Shooter, Assassin and Medic.
• In automatic combat, the player picks the area and the target, and the fight goes on by itself as long as there's health and potions; the session has a 6-hour idle limit (12 hours with Premium).
• Six gathering professions (Expeditions), which keep paying off with the page closed, and equipment crafting by tier.
• Current content goes up to level 50, in five tiers of 10 levels each.
• Raids with three risk approaches (Cautious, Balanced or Aggressive), Global Threats (collective bosses at scheduled times) and pets hatched from cocoons.
• Shelter Market to buy and sell items between players, with Gold; you can't buy a listing from another character on the same account.
• Infirmary with free 30-minute treatment or immediate care paid in Gold.
• The planned Premium gives +50% experience and a 12-hour idle limit; the wiki says billing isn't available yet.
• Sign-up by email and password, accepting the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.

Do you need to keep the tab open?

According to the Dead Idle site, the account keeps progressing with the tab closed.

Gathering expeditions keep paying off with the page closed and are tallied on return. Rules: multiple accounts, automation and VPN

What the rules published by Dead Idle said on Sep 22, 2026:

• Multiple accounts: the site doesn't say. The terms don't limit the number of accounts; they forbid selling, giving away or sharing accounts to gain an advantage. An account can have more than one character.
• Automation (bots, macros, scripts): forbidden. The terms forbid automated accounts and tools that alter progression, with measures ranging from reversing gains to closing the account. • VPN and proxy: the site doesn't say. Terms and wiki don't mention VPN or proxy.
• Selling items for real money (RMT): forbidden. The terms forbid selling, giving away or sharing accounts; they don't specifically mention selling items for real money. How to leave Dead Idle running in IdleDeck

1. Download IdleDeck (free, Windows 10 and 11) and link the app to your IdleDeck account — it takes a minute.
2. Click Add account, go to Other game or site and paste deadidle.pages.dev.
3. Sign in to your Dead Idle account in that window, just like in the browser. Each IdleDeck account has its own login, cookies and cache — repeat step 2 for each account the game's rules allow.
