What is Tower of Mages

Browser idle RPG where every character is a mage and progression comes from expeditions in the Infinite Tower, lasting between 3 minutes and 12 hours, with bosses every 10 floors. It has forging up to +15, a set Codex, guilds and a Black Market with a free player economy; PvP is still under construction.

• Every character is a mage, with Fire and Ice spells; INT, VIT, FOC and SOR are the attributes.
• Expeditions in the Infinite Tower last between 3 minutes and 12 hours; the server decides the outcome right at the start and reveals the loot at four milestones (50%, 70%, 90% and 100% of the duration).
• Every 10 floors there's a live duel, about 3 minutes long, against a boss.
• In the Arcane Forge, equipment goes up to +15 using gems and arcane dust.
• Arcane Codex: pieces of legendary sets become account trophies, and each complete set of 10 pieces gives passive bonuses.
• In the Black Market, players auction and buy items, gems, arcane dust and even crystals from each other.
• On sign-up, the player accepts a 'hardcore' rule: no refunds for items stolen, lost or destroyed at the forge, and the team stays out of trades between players.
• Crystals (premium currency) are bought with real money through Mercado Pago (Pix, card, boleto) or Stripe; the monthly VIP gives +30% XP, gold and drops in the Tower and −20% expedition time.
• The 1v1 PvP (Arcane Colosseum) is still under construction.

Do you need to keep the tab open?

According to the Tower of Mages site, the account keeps progressing with the tab closed.

Tower expeditions run for the chosen time (between 3 minutes and 12 hours) while the player is away, but the player needs to open the site to start the expedition, sync and collect the rewards. So here, keeping the tab open is more about following the account, responding to events and noticing when something goes wrong than about keeping progress.

Rules: multiple accounts, automation and VPN

The Tower of Mages site doesn't publish rules on multiple accounts, automation, VPN or real-money trading (checked Sep 22, 2026). Before opening a second account, ask on the game's Discord.

• Multiple accounts: the site doesn't say. Sign-up is only limited to one registration per email; there's no rule on having more than one account.
• Automation (bots, macros, scripts): the site doesn't say. There's no published rule on bots or macros. The game's code includes a 'Mage Assistant' (automatic farming paid with 1 Crystal every 12 hours), which the panel describes as unlocked only for administrators by default.
• VPN and proxy: the site doesn't say. The site doesn't mention VPN or proxy.
• Selling items for real money (RMT): the site doesn't say. The site doesn't mention sales for real money. It advertises a 'free player economy' in the Black Market, where even crystals (the currency bought with real money) are traded, and says the team doesn't get involved in trades between players.

How to leave Tower of Mages running in IdleDeck
